UNICORE: University Corridors for Refugees

The UNICORE Project aims at increasing opportunities for refugees residing in Kenya, Niger, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe to continue their higher education in Italy.

Host/Institute: Promoted by Italian universities with the support of UNHCR and other partners.
Contributors/Partners: UNHCR, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Caritas Italiana, Diaconia Valdese, Gandi Charity, Centro Astalli.
Critical Dates: 2019 – Present.
Location: Italy with applicants eligible from Kenya, Niger, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
