Summary of ‘A Mutual Journey of Friendship’: Relationship-building in Refugee Community Sponsorship

This report reflects on the United Kingdom’s Community Sponsorship program and explores how CSGs and their sponsored refugee families experience relationship building. The research found that through the relationship building, community sponsorship transforms the people and communities involved by bridging perceived divisions, fostering greater understanding. allowing local people to have a practical impact, and creating more welcoming societies.
