Summary of Private Assistance for Ukrainian refugees and attitudes towards refugee sponsorship in Poland

This study surveys Poland’s response to the Ukrainian refugees in May and December 2022, particularly Poles’ actions and attitudes towards helping Ukrainians, to determine the potential for long-term solutions to refugee responses in Poland that take into account the potential of civic society. The study looks at how social attitudes to assist Ukrainians change overtime in Poland by focusing on Poles’ willingness to help and how and their perceptions of the possible application of refugee sponsorship in Poland.
