Description from host (translated):

The First Thematic Consultation of the Cartagena+40 Process aims to identify and reflect on current and future protection needs in Latin America and the Caribbean and propose common responses regarding the protection of people in situations of human mobility and stateless persons. The debate that will be generated will serve as input for the development and subsequent adoption of a new Regional Action Plan for the period 2024-2034, following up on the Brazilian Action Plan 2014-2024.
