Description:

This panel emphasized that meaningful refugee participation must be enforceable, measurable, funded, and embedded as a right rather than treated as a project. Panellists stressed that participation requires genuine power-sharing, fair compensation, and diverse representation beyond advisory boards alone. The discussion highlighted allyship rooted in accountability and trust, alongside the launch of a draft declaration on refugee participation and an Equitable Partnerships Toolkit to guide organizations in embedding inclusive practices.
