This panel highlighted the importance of whole-of-society approaches that include refugees, First Nations peoples, governments, and community actors in international protection efforts. Speakers discussed the cost-effectiveness and impact of refugee-led organizations, anticipated shifts in UNHCR’s role, and the transformative effects of community sponsorship models.
