Program on Forced Migration and Health: Action Hub on COVID-19 and Displacement
The Action Hub on COVID-19 and Displacement is a project of the Columbia University Program on Forced Migration and Health, part of the Mailman School of Public Health’s Department of Population and Family Health. The faculty has decades of experience working with displaced populations and have responded to major conflicts and humanitarian crises globally since 1998. The interdisciplinary team includes physicians, lawyers, epidemiologists and demographers, with expertise spanning advocacy, law, medicine and public health.
Migrant Integration Policy Index (MIPEX)
The Migrant Integration Policy Index (MIPEX) is a data tool which measures policies to integrate migrants in countries across six continents, including all EU Member States (including the UK), other European countries (Albania, Iceland, North Macedonia, Moldova, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine), Asian countries (China, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, United Arab Emirates), North American countries (Canada, Mexico and US), South American countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile), South Africa, and Australia and New Zealand in Oceania. The project informs and engages key policy actors about how to use indicators to improve integration governance and policy effectiveness.
